Frequently asked questions
Good to know
Here are answers to the questions I'm asked most often. Can't find yours? Just write to me.
How much does couples counselling cost?
A session costs €100 (60 minutes) or €150 (90 minutes), at the practice or by video. Home visits cost €150 (60 minutes) or €225 (90 minutes). The fee is the same for couples and individual sessions.
Which languages are sessions held in?
English, German or French – you choose. I grew up bilingual in German and French and particularly enjoy working with international and intercultural couples.
Can we use different languages during a session?
Yes. Two languages can be used within the same session – English, German or French. I do recommend agreeing on one shared language where possible.
Is it covered by health insurance?
No. Couples and relationship counselling is a private service and is not covered by statutory or private health insurance. You receive an invoice for each session.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, of course. In an individual session we can talk about your relationship — even if your partner doesn't want to join (yet).
What happens in the first session?
In the first session we get to know each other. You tell me what brings you here, and I explain how I work. Afterwards, you can decide in your own time whether and how you'd like to continue.
How many sessions will we need?
There's no general answer. It depends entirely on you — on your personal situation and your needs.
How often do sessions take place?
That also varies from couple to couple. You decide which rhythm suits your relationship.
How do video sessions work?
You'll receive a link from me before the appointment. All you need is a stable internet connection and a quiet place where you can talk undisturbed. Sessions are not recorded.
What if I need to cancel?
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. For later cancellations or missed appointments, the agreed fee is charged, as the time was reserved for you.
How do I get to the practice?
The practice is at Auenstraße 6, 1st floor, 80469 Munich-Isarvorstadt. The nearest underground station is Fraunhoferstraße (U1/U2).
Where do you offer home visits?
Within a radius covering Munich city centre, Isarvorstadt, Schwabing, Maxvorstadt and Lehel; other areas on request. Home visits are mainly for new parents who can't find childcare. Babies are welcome.
What is your training?
I am currently completing my training in couples therapy at EFPP in Paris, graduating in January 2027. Before that, I studied at a business school.
Still have a question?
I'll reply within 48 hours, in whichever language you prefer.
